So... who am I? Lol forgive me I write the way I speak. But for all you who are new to me welcome =D
My names Saundra I'm a 21 year old makeup artist from Toronto Ontario. I started out as a painter, I went to an art based high school and specialized in realism and graphic art. It was my passion art was what I lived for, later on I tried my hand at both fashion and music but I kept finding my way back to art (Fashion and music still pay a HUGE roll in my life though) After graduation I was left with a hard decision to make about what career I should go into (No one wants to be a starving artist) So I did what any dumb kid fresh out of high school would do when they have no clue HEAD BLINDLY INTO COLLEGE :D I applied to a graphic design program only to find out that there is no possible human way I can sit in front of a computer for hours on end doing such tedious work. I was bored I was restless and I needed a creative outlet. I started off by doing makeup for friends, regular smokey eyes for fun nights out, and it only took a second for my friend to say "Damn our makeup is so awesome, you should just be a makeup artist already" and it just clicked, the rest you can say is history.Q.How tall are you?
A.I'm 5'2
Q.Whats your ethnicity?
A.I'm full Guyanese born there too :) My mother is Black Guyanese and my father is Indian Guyanese.
Q.Do you wear weave?
A.Nope I never have, because I'm mixed with Indian and Black my hair tends to grow very long and very curly so I play around with my natural hair.
Q.Are you self taught or do you go to school for makeup?
A.A little bit of both, personally I don't believe you need to go to school for makeup before I started school I was doing makeup and learning a long the way from books and Youtube videos. I only started in school because it's good to have the background knowledge and to become "certified"
Q.Are those your real nails? Where do you get them done?
A.Yes these are my real nails, I have only had them done once professionally and HATED it, so I grew my nails out, all the nail designs I wear I do myself yes I do my right hand too it just takes longer :)
